Aches and pain - getting older
By
Lisa K.
Getting older
I think of myself as being physically a lot older than I am. And by that, I mean my body is slowly dying. I feel like I peaked at about 14 and now its just a slow decent into injury hell.
Diregarding my fall yesterday, which is completely my own fault, I hurt a lot. I have back and knee problems from gymnastics. The back issues give me migraines. The knee prevents me from sitting in a chair for too long. And now worst of all, my rotator cuff is really starting to act up....

My big butt

MY BIG BUTT
BUMMED OUT
I never thought about the size or shape of my butt and thighs until I turned thirty-nine and realized that all of my pants were too tight. I was ten pounds overweight, small patches of rippled skin had mysteriously appeared on my inner thighs, and I had a dimpled ass.
How could this have happened? How could my genes have turned on me in this cruel manner? Why had clothing manufacturers started making such small pants?

The Factors That Contribute To Stretch Marks
Rapid Weight Gain
If you are a serious bodybuilder, then there is no way to avoid stretch marks (unless genetically, you are pre-determined not to get them). When you bulk and put on muscle/fat, the skin obviously has to stretch. However, you can regulate how many stretch marks you get during the bulking session. By not gaining as much weight, your skin won't have to stretch as much. You might be asking why you wouldn't want to add as much...

Shoulders are popping
By
Stefan H.
Shoulder History - About 6 years ago I lifted weights on a regular basis for about 6 months. I had popping in both my shoulders when doing shoulder exercises. Especially when doing a military dumbbell press. It would get better through the workout as the area warmed up.
Present - 2 days ago I worked my shoulders. I felt the popping in my right shoulder while doing dumbbell military press when my elbow was just about even with my shoulders. This only happens if my drops below the plain of ...

My Dream Physique
By
BlackSuited
That is a perfect body for me. It is just amazing to look at it but when you think of the hard work behind the making of this kind of definition, you'll probably think twice.
I know it takes a lot of physical and mental efforts to achieve such physique. I am no professional when it comes to buffing up but as I understand it, you don't just lift. Your genetic structure also play a part in your overall definition. You may all agree that shedding fats will reveal your muscles, giving you a m...

Interesting article I came across today
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=&xml=/earth/2008/07/20/scilust120.xml
Men have long been accused of judging women on looks alone, but even the plainest Jane can get their hormones raging, a study has found.
Research involving a group of male students found that their levels of the hormone testosterone increased to the same extent whether they were talking to a young woman they found attractive ? or to one they d...
